Join Marriott in Giving Back This Holiday Season
December 14th, 2020
To support those who are food insecure in the Montgomery County and Greater Washington, DC area, Marriott International has organized a virtual food drive for long-standing Serve 360 local nonprofit partner, Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB).
If you would like to join Marriott, you can contribute to the donation drive virtually through the customized giving page, which will ship all items directly to CAFB. The donation drive will end on January 4, 2021.
Capital Area Food Bank leads efforts in the region to provide good, healthy food to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on underserved communities, CAFB’s mission is more important than ever. Find out more about Capital Area Food Bank here.
In addition to this collection drive, Marriott is helping the organization meet the increased demand for its services. The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center has donated 40,000 square feet of event space to support CAFB’s food storage and packing operations
